Java масиви

Обикновено масивът е колекция от елементи от подобен тип, която има непрекъснато местоположение в паметта.

Java масив е обект, който съдържа елементи от подобен тип данни. Освен това елементите на масива се съхраняват в непрекъснато място в паметта. Това е структура от данни, където съхраняваме подобни елементи. Можем да съхраняваме само фиксиран набор от елементи в Java масив.

Масивът в Java е базиран на индекс, първият елемент на масива се съхранява на 0-ви индекс, 2-ри елемент се съхранява на 1-ви индекс и т.н.

За разлика от C/C++, можем да получим дължината на масива с помощта на члена length. В C/C++ трябва да използваме оператора sizeof.

В Java масивът е обект от динамично генериран клас. Java масивът наследява класа Object и имплементира Serializable, както и Cloneable интерфейси. Можем да съхраняваме примитивни стойности или обекти в масив в Java. Подобно на C/C++, можем също да създаваме едномерни или многомерни масиви в Java.

Освен това Java предоставя функцията за анонимни масиви, която не е налична в C/C++.

Предимства

    Оптимизация на кода:Това прави кода оптимизиран, можем да извличаме или сортираме данните ефективно.Произволен достъп:Можем да получим всякакви данни, разположени на индексна позиция.

Недостатъци

    Ограничение на размера:Можем да съхраняваме само фиксирания размер на елементите в масива. Не увеличава размера си по време на изпълнение. За да се реши този проблем, в Java се използва рамка за събиране, която расте автоматично.
