Методът isAlphabetic(intcodePoint) на класа Character определя дали посоченият знак е азбука или не.

Знак се счита за азбука, ако има следните характеристики:

• ГЛАВНА БУКВА
• МАЛКА БУКВА
• TITLECASE_LETTER
• MODIFIER_LETTER
• OTHER_LETTER
• LETTER_NUMBER или
• Други азбуки, определени от стандарта Unicode.

 public static Boolean isAlphabetic(int codePoint) 

Параметър

codePoint : Това е характерът, който трябва да бъде тестван.

Методът isAlphabetic(intcodePoint) връща true, ако знакът е знак от азбуката на Unicode. В противен случай този метод връща false.
